Entlantis Monastery

I’ve been advertising my request for a grant that I can use to build an intellectual monastery for a couple of years. I haven’t gotten one yet, and I’m not holding my breath. I still want a monastery (or something comparable) though, and I still need help funding it. So I’ve been working on a backup plan.

I figured if rich people won’t help me fund my monastery then maybe poor people will. After all, they’re going to be the ones living in it. So I found an online forum full of peaceful, creative thinkers who also want to build a sustainable eco-commune. I pitched them a modified version of my monastery idea that focused more on giving the residents viable (profit-sharing) work opportunities than just having of a bunch of lazy intellectuals sit around congratulating themselves about how smart they are.

You can click on the picture below to visit the virtual monastery. There you’ll find links to a set of chat forums designed to help members collaborate on creating and selling products to fund building the monastery. There was a flurry of initial interest, but it has dried up. Now the virtual sustainable business is collecting dust. If you want to get involved feel free to explore the monastery and its associated chat forums. They’re public. So anyone can join them. You can even take over the lead and steer the project in your own direction if you were so inclined. I’m not actually the leader. I’m just the guy who’s talking since nobody else is.

P.S. Under the direction I’m  proposing for the project no laws would be broken. It’s important that you understand that.
